Meals for Minds Haitian Recipe Challenge
Raising Funds to Fight Hunger in Haiti!
Dec 1 - 31, 2021

The Haitian Recipe Challenge is our friend to friend event, raising funds for our School Feeding Program, Meals for Minds.

We serve 65,000 daily lunches through the school year.

To feed a student a daily meal for the entire school year is only $100!

How The Challenge Works

Challengers register (or we can assist you!), and set a fundraising goal.   The suggested goal is $200 which provides a daily lunch for two students for the school year.   Challengers then invite their friends, family, work colleagues, neighbours, etc. to help them reach their fundraising goal.     When they reach their goal, they make a Haitian recipe provided by HIMH taking photos of their recipe making.   They then share these photos with their supporters and HIMH.

How To Help A Challenger

You can help a Challenger reach their goal three ways:

1. Make a gift to their Challenge.

2. Buy a "sabotage" to make creating their recipe fun and more interesting.   Find all Participant Sabotages here.

3. Make a gift AND buy a sabotage.

Gifts and sabotages can be made by cash, cheque, credit card, or e-transfer to info@haitiinmyheart.ca

All gifts and sabotages are eligible for a Canadian charitable tax receipt.

Can Teams or Groups Participate?
Absolutely!    Families, school classes, work colleagues, friends, church groups, etc. can register as a team.
