Cost of Trip:  $2,000CAD / $1,500USD

Included:  accommodation at 4-star all-inclusive hotel located on west coast of Haiti, airport transfers and in-country transportation (air conditioned bus to and from PAP and excursion days), translators, Canadian and Haitian guides, 3 daily meals.

Once this form is submitted you will receive an email with confirmation of space availability. If space is available, a $250.00 deposit fee is due to secure your spot on the trip. This fee is included in the overall cost of the trip. It is non-refundable and nontransferable. Donations given on your behalf are tax deductible.

Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellation by you:

In the event that you cancel your trip more than 60 days prior to the departure date, you may apply your balance, minus your deposit and all previously incurred expenses by Haiti in My Heart for your trip participation, to another trip.

 

In the event that you cancel your trip less than 60 days prior to the departure date, you may apply your balance, minus your deposit, all previously incurred expenses by Haiti in My Heart for your trip participation AND a $500 cancellation fee, to another trip.

 

Rescheduled trips must occur within 12 months of your cancellation date otherwise they will be counted as a tax-deductible gift to Haiti in My Heart.  Note that all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable.  All cancellations must be emailed to Haiti in My Heart at travel info@haitiinmyheart.ca.

 

Cancellation by Haiti in My Heart:

In the event that Haiti in My Heart has to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, Haiti in My Heart will provide a full refund (including deposit) or ideally transfer funds to another trip within 12 months of the cancellation.  Haiti in My Heart will not be responsible for reimbursing any expenses you may have incurred in preparing for your trip.  The only exception would be airfare expenses booked by you or Haiti in My Heart on your behalf.  In that event, Haiti in My Heart will reimburse you for the airline change fee up to $200.  Note: in the event that you booked your airfare prior to receiving approval from the Haiti in My Heart trip leader, Haiti in My Heart will not reimburse any of those costs.

 

30 days prior to your trip you a welcome package and detailed information on your trip will be emailed to you.
