Serving 66,000 Daily School Meals

Nourishing 300 Families

THE BIGGEST DANGER IN HAITI - RIGHT NOW

- IS HUNGER

4.96 million people in Haiti - nearly half the population - are experiencing acute food security, including 1.6 million people experiencing emergency levels.

Since the gangs took control of the seaport in September 2022, many of our families have struggled to secure a daily meal for all members in their family, even with the support from our school.

Inflation has now reached an all time high of 47%, causing the cost of food to increase by an unprecedented 88% from three years ago.

Job and income losses have affected two thirds of families across the country during the latest wave of violence in March.

Families have resorted to desperate strategies to cope, such as buying on credit and falling into debt, and selling off animals, seeds and other goods just to get by.

YOUR URGENT RESPONSE IS NEEDED

Providing food security is an affordable, simple, and fast action for us to take.

No amount is too small, or too big - it all adds up to ensure our families and children continue to eat - at school and at home.
