Shine A Light - Spring Speaker Series

Haiti in My Heart is launching the Shine A Light Speaker Series in Ontario this May!

Haiti is in turmoil.

Gang activity has taken over many parts of the country.  Children and families do not have access to basic necessities.  Personal safety is at its highest threat in decades.  Foreign governments are reluctant to provide aid and security assistance.

• How did this dire situation arise for the Western Hemisphere’s poorest nation?
• Is there nothing to be done for Haiti and its people?
• Haiti in My Heart is making a difference – right now – for children and families in Haiti
• YOU, too, can Shine a Light on Haiti

HIMH Chair, Louise Elliott, will be in Ontario this May, to share the plight of our Haitian friends, how HIMH continues to provide assistance and hope to 250 families in Montrouis, Haiti, and what you can do to join HIMH in Shining a Light on Haiti and make an impactful difference.

This 9:30am session is taking place at Notre Dame Catholic School in Caledonia Ontario.   

It is suitable for children Kindergarten to Grade 3 and is 1 hour in length.  Adults and older children are welcome to attend!

Louise will also be presenting on May 23rd at the school at 11:15-12:45 to Grades 7-8, and 1:30-2:30 to Grades 4-6.

 May 25th - London, Ontario - Host: Linda and Jim White, London Public Library - Pond Mills, 2:00-3:30pm

 June 5th - Penticton, British Columbia - Host: Luise and Stewart Ladyman, 12:00-1:30pm luncheon
