Clean Water and Hands for Haiti

 

Like schools across Canada ours, Institute Mixte Remax, is closed due to the concerns about the spread of Covid-19.

 

Our school will re-open in September.

 

We will ensure our school is equipped to help stop the spread of the virus.

 

Clean Water and Hands for Haiti is a project in response to the coronavirus in Haiti.   We will build a 5-sink hand washing station for our 250 students and 17 staff to ensure their health and well-being, and fight the spread of the virus in Haiti.

This project will require one-time costs such as the purchase of water filters, a 500 gallon water holding tank, and construction of a hand washing station.

 

Ongoing costs include boxes of soap, and gasoline to operate the generator to pump the water from the well to the water holding tank.

 

Our goal is to raise $10,000

for this legacy, permanent project for our school.
